We recently went to funeducation.com to try out the kid’s IQ test. Yes, it had to be paid for, and yes if you pay for something like that online your IQ is automatically 20 points lower than you think it is. That aside we went forth!
Noah originally scored 74. I ask you: How could a 7 year old with an IQ of 74 READ an IQ test? I complained. They said it was a small error. His REAL score was 98.
I complained again.
They said we should try the free spatial IQ test. Noah tried it. His IQ was 126 on a test for adults. How is it that he’s a highly intelligent adult, but an average child? They said he could take the kid’s test one more time at no charge. He scored 115. Guess what?
I complained!
Here’s the deal: He correctly answered division problems on the math section of the test. He’s in second grade. I’ve been asking around and none of the second graders I know have covered division yet in school. How is it that on the math section of the test he scored 105? That’s average. That means the average second grader can do division in spite of not having covered it in school. For what, pray tell, are they going to school?
Am I taking crazy pills or something?
