Straw Soccer (For 2-6yrs)
This is aimed more at the younger kids. The best thing about this activity is that it can be done indoors or outdoors.
BLOW FOOTBALL:
a table….(like a card table)
two containers to act as goals
a ping pong ball
two drinking straws
Attatch the containers to opposing ends of table and blowing through the straw try to blow the ball into the opposing goal.
Outcomes:
* teaches breath control, so is excellent for asthmatics and bronchial conditions.
* teaches healthy competition and good sportsmanship
* teaches spatial ability
* teaches that movement is fun.
