Materials needed: 2 dice, paper and pencil (or chalk board) for keeping score

Preparation: divide the score card in half vertically; mark one half “even” the other half “odd”

Objectives: practice addition of small numbers; reinforce “odd” versus
“even”

To play:

1. Have child choose to play for “odds” or “evens”
2. Roll 2 dice and add the numbers together
3. Record the result with a tally mark on the appropriate side
4. First player to reach 10 tally marks wins
