Supplies:

Alphabet flashcards: A-L, M-X, and Y-Z.
A kid that can sing the alphabet song

Instructions:

1) Lay out the cards in order.
2) Sing the alphabet song with your child while pointing to the card for each letter.
3) Have your child hide their eyes while you remove a card.
4) Give your child the missing card.
5) Sing the song again until you get to the missing letter.
6) When your child sings the name of the letter (not realizing they’ve just solved the problem) clap your hands and tell them they did a very good job finding where the missing letter goes.

You can do this with more than one letter at a time. In fact, that’s the most fun way.
